I haven’t been writing much lately, due to the fact that I’ve been quite busy. Besides working on several sites, I’m making some changes to this site (none visible yet), and will probably upgrade to WP 1.5 soon. In the meantime, I though I’d write a word or two and mention some designs I discovered in the last couple of weeks or so.
First off, my Croatian buddies from Web.Burza. I’ve always admired all those guys, and once again they’ve delivered a great site. I’m not a big fan of sites that use a lot of Flash, but even I like the animations on this one. With all those details, it’ll surely keep you busy for a while…
I’ve stumbled upon Our Dulcimer Home on CSS Beauty, a site that I believe was done by Uptonic [edit: it’s acutally a work of Cody Lindley]. I browsed through Uptonic’s poftfolio to find more great work. I just love the simple, usable design.
If you’ve visited the bigger CSS showcase sites, you must have noticed Pixelpusher by now. Alen once again re-designed and delivered a clean and polished site, this time with his own blog. Thumbs up!
E-knjige is a site of a young Croatian writer called Matija Turčin. Matija recently re-designed and made a really nice tableless site. He says he still has some work to do, but I don’t think he’d mind the plug.
Hey, you speak English!
You’ve noticed! Yup, I do, and I intend to write in English more often. It’s funny, but I was always more comfortable writing in English than in my own language. So, I’ll keep this site mostly in English, from now on. Plus, I’ll write in Croatian often on another site, but more about that some other time.
