Writing Blocks of Code

You must have come accross a site where you wanted to insert a block of (X)HTML, CSS or some other code. Perhaps you run a blog and share some coding tips and tricks with the world, like me. What HTML tag(s) do you use to write your blocks of code? PRE, CODE, P, a combination of those, or something else? Are your blocks of code semantically correct? –Read the rest of this post–

Ljekarne Ricov

A microsite for Ljekarne Ricov is the latest project I’ve completed. It was a very unusual job, as the client gave me only a small business card to work with! Given the circumstances and the usual client vs. designer problems, I’m fairly pleased with the result.

Since Ricov is a pharmacy, my idea was to use light, subtle colors. I think I’ve managed to combine them to work pretty good, although green has always been my least favorite color to work with on the web. As always, the site uses XHTML & CSS, and an obligatory IE hack or two.

I haven’t been writing much lately, due to the fact that I’ve been quite busy. Besides working on several sites, I’m making some changes to this site (none visible yet), and will probably upgrade to WP 1.5 soon. In the meantime, I though I’d write a word or two and mention some designs I discovered in the last couple of weeks or so. –Read the rest of this post–
